Whilst Charopy originally worked with schools (our 120L and 240L smart wheelie bins lids are still available), the overwhelming majority of our client base these days is with retail, corporate and government clients wanting more elegant bin housings and bin stations.
Our standard panel can be retrofitted into almost any bin housing with a vertical opening and is the most common product sold. More recently we have been doing an increased amount of custom projects. Customisation can include unique dimensions, custom colours, custom methods of securing the Charopy panel and battery or solar powered bins with waterproofing and UV protection for outdoor requirements.
Want a smart bin unlike anyone else - just ask. We love solving new problems when not selling the current range.
We are also doing software customisation when requested. Integrating live bin data into digital screens is a powerful way to maximise the impact of your Charopy installation. Larger clients are also asking about API data feeds into existing software packages rather than utilising the current Charopy online portal where clients can view bin contents over time by material type (PET, HDPE, aluminium, glass etc) along with a range of other relevant information.

Meet the new trusty sidekick of our mailers: the Ecolabel. Like Batman and Robin fighting crime together, these two products are going to be inseparable in the fight against plastic.
The premise is simple. Rather than forcing your customers to remove address label from their packaging, Ecolabels have a specifically-designed adhesive that can be safely composted without leaving harmful residues. This means your unboxing experience is a lot more user-friendly and better for the environment.
An Australian first, Ecolabels are designed and manufactured in accordance with EN13432 industrial composting standards. Note this product will take longer to break down in a home compost than our Ecomailers, but we are currently working on the full home certification too. For more than 20 years AMANDUS KAHL has been active in the conditioning of waste tyres and supplies plants all over the world - from intake to packaging. Waste tyres offer a particularly high recycling potential. In material recycling, the waste tyres are crushed and granulated.
The central part of the waste tyre granulation unit is our flat die press. However, its task in this field is not the compaction of various bulk products. Instead, our flat die press is used as a crushing machine for the recycling of waste tyres and works according to the pan grinder principle. For this reason, it is also called pan grinder mill. The pelleting elements such as pan grinder rollers and die exert a combined shearing and cutting impact on the product to be processed. The result is the desired separation of the waste tyre into rubber, textile and steel.

Our new Tindo Karra-330W PERC monocrystalline allows Tindo to fit more power into less space for a comparable price. 

The development and testing of this module has been in the making for some time now with the participation of the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia.

Tindo operates a state of the art 60MW capacity production line in Adelaide South Australia. Our line is fully automated with a focus on quality control and sophisticated engineering. 

All the materials used in the production of our Karra modules first undergo thorough testing to establish their suitability as a production material.
We subject glass, film and junction boxes to intense testing, individually and in combination with other materials and expose them to stress repeatedly.
We do everything a manufacturer can possibly do! Materials are tested mechanically, electrically, thermally and visually. This way, we can be certain that only the very best materials are used for our Karra solar modules

Why does the number of Busbars matter?
The higher number of busbars the shorter the distance between them, which in effect means lower internal resistance losses. The reduced distance between busbars also means the negative effect of any potential micro cracks in the cell is minimised.
Modules containing Multi busbar cells have increased long term reliability, increased all weather energy conversion efficiency and increased annual yield.
This means in real life conditions 5BB modules should perform better than the same output 3BB or 4BB modules.
New G1 Square Cells
G1 cells are 100% square, unlike traditional solar cells, the larger G1 cell produces more power for the same size module.
That means a more price competitive and reliable module than other multi-wire modules and a better-looking module with less back sheet showing.

MC4-EVO 2 Staubli Connectors
We have also updated our traditional MC4 connectors on the Karra 330H module to MC4 EVO 2 Staubli connectors increasing the panels rating to 1500V making it ideal for both commercial and residential applications.
Suited for all climatic environments thanks to resistance to UV, ammonia, salt mist spray and high IP class (IP68).
